Weekend Gallery and Basement Gallery
US/UK Artists' Exchange Program

In addition to the Weekend Gallery, Mike and Jane Brumfield are also Directors of the Basement Gallery in Downtown Boise, Idaho's State Capital. This facilitates the opportunity to exchange work and curate transatlantic projects.

It is the Brumfield's intention for the two galleries to work in partnership offering increased opportunities for artists both side of the pond through an exchange of work. The first example of this is the Weekend Gallery's January show, which pairs Hastings-based artist, Len Shelley with a Boise favourite, Bill Carman. The Basement gallery's first joint project will be a printmaking show in March.
